VACAVILLE - “DIY Landscape Installation” classes are now being offered by the City of Vacaville Community Services Department.  Participants will learn to tackle basic landscape installation or become better prepared to deal with a contractor by enrolling in this class.  

Professional landscaper Marvin Braa will share his years of practical experience.  Participants will learn about proper ground preparation, drainage, irrigation, plants, trees, patios, walkways, lighting, and structures.

Classes are scheduled for Thursday, July 7-14 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Ulatis Community Center, and Saturday, July 23-30, from 10 a.m. - Noon at the Three Oaks Community Center. The registration fee is $59 for the two-week course.

Pre-registration is required due to limited space. Individuals can register online with their Account PIN and client barcode at www.cityofvacaville.com, or at any of the following locations: McBride Center, Ulatis Community Center, 1000 Ulatis Drive, and Three Oaks Community Center, 1100 Alamo Drive.
