Animal Hospice and Caring for Aging Pets September 16 & 22

There are two opportunities in September to learn about animal hospice and how to care for an aging pet with Dr. Lynn Hendrix.  Join the Yolo County Library for one of these informational talks and learn about animal hospice, palliative medicine and how to keep a pet comfortable at the end of life.

  • September 16 at 7:00 p.m. at the Mary L. Stephens Davis Branch Library, located at 315 E. 14th Street in Davis
  • September 22 at 7:00 p.m. at the Winters Community Library, located at 708 Railroad Avenue in Winters

Dr. Lynn Hendrix has become a leader in the field of Animal Hospice.  She is a member of the International Association of Animal Hospice and Palliative Care and was a member and author of the task force to write the most comprehensive guidelines on animal hospice in the country.  Dr. Hendrix graduated from UC Davis in 2002 with a doctor of veterinary medicine.
