This Memorial Day Monday (5/30), hit the road to the California Automobile Museum for the 7th Annual Vettes for Vets & American Muscle Car Show sponsored by Performance Chevrolet, Corvette Care and 101.5 K-Hits.

Free to spectators, the popular annual event celebrates America’s love for the automobile while honoring our country’s brave veterans and active duty military. All car owners and enthusiasts are encouraged to enter their vehicles – especially Corvettes, American “muscle cars” and military vehicles – in the show that takes place in a parking lot behind the Museum.  To register a vehicle, cost is $25 before 5/30 or $30 on the day of the event (each driver will receive one lunch ticket and two free “passes” to the Museum).  At noon, the eye-catching cars on display will be judged in a variety of categories.

Drugs in the Old West

Drugs in the Old West

The dice weren’t the only thing loaded in the Old West! Between opium dens, easy availability of laudanum, cocaine and morphine, and patent medicines packed with who knows what – it’s a wonder more pioneers didn’t overdose. We’ll give you the dope on true stories of chronic misbehavior and high anxiety. Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 and will only be sold at the gate.
