It’s celebration time at the Hanna and Herbert Bauer Memorial Community Garden! Join us on September 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the garden for food, a tomato tasting and a chance to meet our partners, gardeners and other garden enthusiasts.
The event is hosted by the Yolo County Health & Human Service Agency’s Nutrition Education & Obesity Prevention Program. All are welcome to attend and the event is free.
The community garden provides garden-based nutrition and gardening technique classes as well as community plots for residents and groups to grow fresh produce. This year’s celebration theme is “Healthy Habits Grow Here”. The event will include a visual representation of how the garden has helped improve the health of the Yolo County community.
RSVP is preferred, so please contact Rebecca Tryon at email@example.com if you plan to attend.
